Job description

We are partnering with an automotive distributor in their search for an Account Manager. The candidate will play an integral role in the development of innovative marketing campaigns for this major automotive brand. Ideally, you will have agency experience or are currently working as a Marketing Executive within the Irish Motor Industry. This role represents a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their marketing career with a leading automotive brand.


The Role:

  • Working closely with the Account Director to ensure that projects are delivered within agreed timescales
  • Managing the support function of the Area Marketing Manager in Ireland
  • Action all briefs from UK distributor and the dealer network
  • Ensure that creative interpretation of the brief is correct and print specs and quotes match those briefed
  • Ensure that all work meets brief, costs and agreed time lines
  • Manage weekly status meetings with the distributor
  • Ensure that all briefs are fully developed and agreed before working through the wider team
  • On a day to day basis, be the contact for any specific matters to the client
  • Manage with the Account Director the day to day brand and legal compliance of any dealer bespoke briefs

Requirements

  • Automotive experience with channel marketing exposure, preferably with a marketing agency
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively
  • Experience working with operational teams to ensure the smooth integration of all new initiatives
  • Prove customer-centric approach to past projects
  • Ability to write both strategic and tactical proposals
