Business Development Manager

Job description

We are partnering with a rapidly expanding fleet and leasing organisation in their search for a Business Development Manager. This is a key appointment for the business and as BDM, you will be responsible for building new customer accounts throughout Ireland. This is a field-based position with a requirement to be in their Dublin office 1 day each week.


The Role:

  • Prospecting, researching and identifying new business opportunities to deliver fleet and leasing to SMEs and blue chips companies
  • Developing strong business relationships with prospective customers and managing the sales funnel by continually monitoring and anticipating future business needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop, recommend and execute a sales plan that leverages national and regional programs
  • Confidently presenting sales proposals to key decision makers
  • Influencing, negotiating and closing sales with the best interest of the company and the customer in mind
  • Communicating regularly on sales progress within the sales cycle and preparing reports on KPIs
  • Representing the business in a positive and professional manner to all customers, competitors and industry representatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years fleet business development experience with proven record in sales growth
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Business acumen, with strong financial and analytical skills
  • Superior organisation and time management skills
  • IT skills (Windows, MS Office an asset)
