Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dealer Principal with a high-profile dealership in the Midlands. This is a key appointment for the business and is a fantastic opportunity to join a dealership with an outstanding product range across two leading brands. A 45 minute commute from Dublin, this might suit an existing Dealer Principal already living and working in the the Dublin area.


The Role

  • Lead and mentor a sales team in line with the manufacturer's brand values
  • Manage team performance to achieve key targets and objectives, delivering continuous improvement
  • Continuously review and improve sales processes and systems to deliver increased levels of customer satisfaction whilst maximising profitability.
  • Oversee the sales operation of the dealership with responsibility for maximising sales conversion and profitability as well as actively promoting F&I-related products
  • Develop a high-performing used car strategy for the business

Requirements

  • An existing Dealer Principal or Head of Business with a high volume brand
  • A clear track record of developing innovative sales initiatives 
  • Demonstrable evidence of developing a used car strategy
  • Process-driven in nature, seeing the benefit of supporting the sales process with strong data and reporting structures
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to maximise team performance
  • Organised individual who can prioritise workload effectively
