Field Service Engineer

Job description

We are working with a multinational financial and retail technology company to hire a Field Service Engineer for the Dublin area. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, you will provide support and maintenance for products at customer premises with a specialist focus on ATM technology.


The Role:

  • Liaise with clients to diagnose faults and ensure a fast, accurate and long-term solution to problems
  • Ensure replacement parts are effectively utilised where the diagnosis proves it is essential to do so
  • Advise local customer representatives on proper care of equipment and provide training and advice to prevent recurrence of faults
  • Liaise with technical support team to share advice and guidance 
  • Regularly review technical documentation to ensure technical skills are up-to-date
  • Provide feedback on territory performance to ensure ongoing service performance improvement

Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a field based technical role
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair faults in electrical equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full clean driver’s licence, essential
