General Sales Manager

Job description

We are working with a Kildare based dealership with a top 5 franchise in their search for a General Sales Manager. This is a non-selling role and the ideal candidate will be an existing Sales Manager with a high volume dealership within commutable distance to Naas. 

 

The Role:

  • Manage a team of 5 Sales Executives, working towards agreed sales targets
  • Analyse sales and revenue reports and make future forecasts
  • Prepare and control budget aiming for maximum efficiency
  • Forecast goals and objectives for the Sales Department.
  • Work closely with other Department Managers to ensure cooperation and teamwork throughout the dealership
  • Keep abreast of market trends to determine the need for improvements in the dealership
  • Motivate and monitor the performance of Sales Executives
  • Assist in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager within a high volume franchise dealership
  • Within 20 mile commute of Naas
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organising and leadership skills
  • Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
  • Proficiency in automotive sales software
  • Professional manufacturer training in the areas of compliance an data protection an advantage
