Job description

An opportunity has arisen with a dealership group for the position of Head of Sales for their top 5 franchise. This non-selling senior appointment is offering an executive-level package and a rewarding career with company recognised as an employer of choice.


The Role:

  • Manage a team of Sales Executives with an emphasis on training and personal development
  • Create a culture of accountability, ensuring that there are consistent and clear performance objectives in place which are regularly reviewed 
  • Maximise ROI on department marketing spend
  • Maximise the use of the DMS reporting systems to deliver insights for management decisions
  • Improve the sales process through the introduction of software, enquiry management, CRM, stocking, appraisal and marketing communications
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with distributors to fully understand quarterly targets
  • Full P&L responsibility for the sales department

Requirements

  • Existing Head of Sales or Sales Manager who has achieved significant sales performance within a high volume franchise dealership
  • 7+ years automotive Sales Management experience
  • Subject matter expert in the area of sales processes and a recognised leader in the industry
  • Highly analytical approach to sales using relevant KPI reporting to implement improvements
