We are partnering with an international automotive business in their search for the new Business Development Manager covering the West of Ireland. This newly created role, based in Galway, will focus on the delivery of a professional B2B sales operation specialising in light commercial vehicles. The Role:

  • Targeted approach to selling B2B solutions, specifically with LCVs (Light Commercial Vehicles) to corporations
  • Ability to prepare and present bespoke customer presentations
  • Research key business sectors, figures and tools to present plans and forecast future goals and targets
  • Achieve predetermined monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Gain a competitive edge in negotiations through a thorough understanding of market and products offered
  • Conduct quality appointments with prospects in line with the activity plan
  • Negotiate contracts and (SLAs) with new customers within agreed parameters
  • Continuously identify additional revenue opportunities 
  • Provide regular updates and forecasts to the Sales Director
  • Develop a robust pipeline of prospects to deliver growth of the business by identifying targeted corporations


  • Previous experience of significant new business generation in leasing LCV products to large enterprises 
  • Proven record of exceeding targets
  • Experience of selling within a B2B environment to the corporate market
  • Proven ability and experience in solution selling
  • Strong influencing and negotiation ability
  • Ability to deliver presentations to customers - all levels of management 
  • Ability to collate and analyse data - PC literate
  • Ability to work under pressure, be self-motivated, committed to meeting deadlines (self-imposed and external), and to manage multiple requirements and demands effectively
