Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join a newly established used car operation in Dublin. Modelling itself on international best practice, this new business represents a game changer in the Irish Motor Industry and the successful candidate will be responsible for developing its used car sales strategy going forward. 


The Role:

  • Forecasting goals and objectives for sales, gross profit and expenses
  • Controlling the sales process and stock whilst delivering the highest standards of customer service
  • Training and motivating a team of experienced Sales Executives
  • Devising marketing plans and compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Aim to constantly improve customer satisfaction and generate new and exciting ways to increase satisfaction for used car customers

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Used Car Controller/Manager with a franchise dealership
  • Excellent track record of exceeding used car sales targets¬†
  • Experience in managing all aspects of a busy used car sales department¬†
  • Commercial awareness along with a highly developed understanding of used car valuations
