Job description

Our client is a multi-franchise dealership and is seeking an experienced Service Advisor for their busy service centre in North Dublin. You will be the first point of contact with service customers, providing a premium aftersales experience.

The Role:

  • Greet each customer in a prompt and courteous manner 
  • Schedule appointments using dealership management systems
  • Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem
  • Secure agreement from customers before repairs begin; cover cost estimate; and approximate time when vehicle's work will be complete
  • Promote the sales of appropriate services, parts and accessories by thoroughly understanding the product and associated service requirements
  • If additional work is needed, explain the details to the customer, including additional cost and time considerations
  • Provide estimates of labour and parts
  • Act as liaison between customer and Technician; ensuring customer's needs are understood by the Technician and service, repairs are understood by the customer


  • 2+ years experience as a Service Advisor with a franchised dealership
  • Good technical knowledge 
  • Detail oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
