Job description

We are partnering with a large automotive group specialising in the fleet sector in their search for an outstanding Service Manager for their busy workshop. The Role:

  • Ensure the completion of safe, legal and compliant services, maintenance and repairs promptly and cost effectively 
  • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and handled in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop robust controls and follow procedures in respect of the financial and administrative areas of workshop
  • Deliver and regularly review action plans that will ensure continuous improvements for the workshop
  • Establish a robust health, safety and environmental culture 
  • Minimise vehicle downtime while maximising productivity, efficiency and utilisation (PEU)
  • Accuracy and timely submission of all compliance related documents 
  • Maximise warranty jobs and revenue
  • Ensure all costs and revenue are properly authorised and accounted for

Requirements

  • Proven management, leadership and development skills
  • Minimum of 3 years Service Manager experience in a vehicle workshop environment
  • Qualified Technician with time served experience
  • Workshop and supervisory experience essential
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Self motivated and commercially driven
  • IT literate, competent user of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to communicate at all levels across all domains
