Job description

Our client, a successful main dealer in the Midlands is seeking an outstanding Service Manager to join their business. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving the business forward and building a culture of high-performance within the workshop. 

The Role

  • Ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability in the Service Department whilst providing excellent customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring all service, warranty and repair works are carried out to the highest standard¬†
  • Maintaining excellent working relationships with our distributor and manufacturer
  • Maintaining an effective control of costs in line with agreed objectives by regular examination and review of management accounts and budgets


  • Proven experience of running a successful service workshop is absolutely essential
  • Sound business acumen, and the capability to control costs and increase profits
  • A qualified diagnostic Technician
  • Proven people management skills and leadership ability
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Desire to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Proven ability to work to high standards.
  • Strong IT and administration skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
