We are working with a leading automotive distributor to hire an Technical Support Specialist. You will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring high service standards on behalf of the dealer network.


The Role:

  • Provide technical support to dealerships, addressing enquiries and resolving issues through various communication channels
  • Offer onsite assistance, ensuring adherence to technical standards and efficient system use
  • Collaborate with Training Department to identify and bridge technical skill gaps
  • Conduct dealership assessments, focusing on operations, vehicle conditions and facility standards
  • Facilitate communication with stakeholders for technical issue resolution and service quality enhancement
  • Investigate and document technical problems, supporting customer satisfaction initiatives
  • Advise internal teams on technical matters, supporting cross-departmental excellence
  • Lead educational campaigns, prepare presentations and engage in professional development activities

Job requirements

  • 5+ years in a technical support role within the automotive sector in Ireland
  • Proficiency in vehicle electronics, diesel engine technology and troubleshooting
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organisational skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new technical systems.
  • Full clean driver's license
