Job description
Our client, a well-established and expanding franchise dealer in Cork, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead the next phase of growth. This is a key leadership role with full responsibility for both sales and aftersales performance. The successful candidate will drive commercial results, strengthen operational standards, and lead a high-performing management team across the business.
The role
Full P&L responsibility for the dealership
Lead and develop both Sales and Aftersales departments
Drive new and used vehicle performance in line with manufacturer and group targets
Improve aftersales absorption, workshop productivity, and customer retention
Manage and mentor departmental managers and wider team
Ensure strong manufacturer compliance and brand standards
Identify opportunities for operational improvement and business growth
Deliver an exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints
Job requirements
Proven experience as a General Manager, Dealer Principal, or senior automotive leader
Strong background across both sales and aftersales operations
Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial growth and improve profitability
Experience working within a franchise dealership environment
Strong leadership and people management capability
Financially and commercially astute
High level of professionalism and customer focus
