General Sales Manager

Job description

We are working with a high volume and established franchise dealership in Donegal to hire a General Sales Manager. You will be responsible for the development of the new and used car sales functions and will be rewarded with a strong remuneration package.


The Role:

  • Set sales goals, track progress and manage team to achieve and exceed targets
  • Work towards own sales targets, including new and used units and customer service scores
  • Lead sales meetings, regularly compiling and analysing sales figures
  • Perform high-quality, professional, and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of new/used vehicles
  • Implement a highly process-driven approach to selling, with a well defined lead generation and follow up process
  • Train and motivate a team of Sales Executives on best practices and provide guidance to improve sales performance
  • Devise and implement marketing plans, with the support of distributor partner
  • Aim to constantly improve customer satisfaction and generate new and exciting ways to increase customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience as a Senior Sales Executive/Selling Sales Manager with a franchise dealership
  • Excellent track record in exceeding sales targets
  • Commercial awareness along with a highly developed understanding of used car valuations
  • Experience in all aspects of a busy high volume car sales department
  • Highly process driven in approach to car sales
  • CDK knowledge, preferable
