Job description

We are hiring a General Sales Manager for a high-performing, fast-paced franchise dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven leader looking to progress their career towards senior dealership management.

The role

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day performance of the sales team

  • Drive achievement of unit sales, margin and finance penetration targets

  • Coach and develop individual team members to consistently achieve KPIs

  • Oversee vehicle presentation, pricing, and stock rotation to maximise profitability

  • Collaborate with senior management on strategy, promotions and marketing initiatives

  • Maintain excellent customer satisfaction and retention levels

  • Ensure CRM systems and sales process are used effectively across the team

Job requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Sales Manager or Sales Manager within a franchise dealership

  • Strong leadership, coaching and team development skills

  • Demonstrable track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets

  • Confident managing both new and used vehicle operations

  • Strong understanding of finance and insurance processes

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and decision-making abilities

  • Full clean driving licence
