Head of Finance

We are working with a well-established franchise dealership group to appoint an experienced Head of Finance to lead and oversee all financial operations across multiple sites. This is a senior role with responsibility for profitability, strategic planning, compliance and supporting key commercial decisions at group level.

The role

• Lead all financial functions, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple sites

• Oversee management accounts, cash flow, and profitability for each dealership

• Provide strategic financial guidance to the CEO and executive team

• Monitor KPIs and financial performance, identifying areas for improvement

• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, taxation, and auditing requirements

• Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring consistent processes across sites

• Support dealership acquisitions, capital investments, and operational initiatives

• Collaborate with department heads to optimise cost control and revenue performance

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with extensive experience in multi-site operations

• Proven experience in the automotive dealership sector preferred

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Proficient in financial systems, reporting, and compliance standards

• Strategic thinker with experience supporting growth, investment, and operational decision-making
