Job description
We are working with a large plant machinery business to hire a Parts Administrator. Working within the Parts Department, you will be responsible for coordinating purchasing, ordering and delivery of parts for this group.
The Role:
- Liaise regularly with customers in relation to orders, delivery schedules and timeframes
- Analyse stock levels, maintaining at appropriate levels to control costs
- Assess delivery methods including air freight to minimise delivery costs
- Use IT system to manage inventory and budgets
- Communicate with suppliers regarding claims and returns procedures
Job requirements
- 2+ years experience in parts or service
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
