Parts Administrator

Job description

We are working with a large plant machinery business to hire a Parts Administrator. Working within the Parts Department, you will be responsible for coordinating purchasing, ordering and delivery of parts for this group.

The Role:

  • Liaise regularly with customers in relation to orders, delivery schedules and timeframes
  • Analyse stock levels, maintaining at appropriate levels to control costs
  • Assess delivery methods including air freight to minimise delivery costs
  • Use IT system to manage inventory and budgets
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding claims and returns procedures

Job requirements

  • 2+ years experience in parts or service
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent communication skills
