Pricing Manager
Job description
We are working with a global insurance provider to hire a Pricing Manager. This is a newly created role within the business and you will be responsible for growing and developing the Pricing team to further enhance the company's product portfolio. This is a remote position with travel to Irish office required monthly.
The Role:
- Reporting to the General Manager, develop pricing models across the product portfolio
- Work closely with underwriting, commercial and finance functions
- Support business decision making through the analysis of data and risk levels
- Constantly review pricing and suggest adjustments to ensure maximum profitability and product penetration
- Make projections on the implications of pricing model changes
- Develop the design, testing and maintenance of pricing models and tools
- Research additional markets to suggest new products or product development
- Research and monitor competitors’ products & offerings
- Develop product portfolio by analysing target markets and customer needs
- Oversee the implementation of technical systems and process improvements
- Remain up to date with regulatory changes and market conditions
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in general insurance product offerings
- Experience with travel or warranty Insurance products, preferable
- Experience managing a team towards achieving strategic goals
- Background in market research and analysis
- Specific knowledge of Non-life product pricing
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
- MS office proficiency, particularly Excel
