Pricing Manager

Job description

We are working with a global insurance provider to hire a Pricing Manager. This is a newly created role within the business and you will be responsible for growing and developing the Pricing team to further enhance the company's product portfolio. This is a remote position with travel to Irish office required monthly.


The Role:

  • Reporting to the General Manager, develop pricing models across the product portfolio
  • Work closely with underwriting, commercial and finance functions
  • Support business decision making through the analysis of data and risk levels
  • Constantly review pricing and suggest adjustments to ensure maximum profitability and product penetration 
  • Make projections on the implications of pricing model changes
  • Develop the design, testing and maintenance of pricing models and tools
  • Research additional markets to suggest new products or product development
  • Research and monitor competitors’ products & offerings
  • Develop product portfolio by analysing target markets and customer needs
  • Oversee the implementation of technical systems and process improvements
  • Remain up to date with regulatory changes and market conditions

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in general insurance product offerings
  • Experience with travel or warranty Insurance products, preferable
  • Experience managing a team towards achieving strategic goals
  • Background in market research and analysis
  • Specific knowledge of Non-life product pricing
  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills
  • MS office proficiency, particularly Excel
