Job description

We are hiring a results-driven Sales Executive on behalf of a high volume, top 5 franchise dealership in Dublin. As part of a larger automotive group, this dealership offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment with excellent growth opportunities.

The Role:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Demonstrate vehicle features, advantages and benefits to potential buyers, highlighting how they match customer preferences
  • Accompany customers on test drives, provide information about the vehicle's performance and address any questions they may have
  • Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial contact to finalising the sale, including negotiations, financing options and paperwork
  • Follow up with leads generated through various channels; phone, email, digital or walk-ins and nurture those leads into potential sales
  • Explain pricing, financing terms, warranties and available add-ons, ensuring customers have a clear understanding of their options
  • Work towards achieving individual and dealership sales targets and quotas set by management
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings and market demand to better assist customers and tailor sales strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software
  • Develop and maintain a network of potential customers through referrals, word-of-mouth and professional relationships
  • Address customer concerns, objections and questions and provide suitable solutions to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Work collaboratively with sales team members, support staff and managers to create a cohesive and successful sales environment
  • Stay updated with product knowledge, sales techniques and dealership policies through training programmes provided by the dealership or manufacturer
  • Post-sale, maintain communication with customers to ensure their satisfaction and potentially secure future sales or referrals

Job requirements

  • 3+ years car sales experience with a high volume franchise dealership
  • Track record in achieving sales targets
  • Strong prospecting and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
