Job description

We are hiring an experienced Service Manager for a successful premium franchise dealership in South Dublin. You will be responsible for driving the day-to-day operation and performance of the Service Department, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role

  • Plan and manage service operations to align with manufacturer and company standards

  • Monitor Technician productivity to maximise workshop efficiency

  • Manage scheduling of work to ensure optimal use of workshop capacity

  • Ensure that job documentation is completed accurately and on time

  • Provide leadership, coaching and support across the entire Service team

  • Oversee accurate recording of labour times, parts usage and service invoicing

  • Maintain training standards across the team to meet future skill requirements

  • Ensure full compliance with manufacturer warranty processes

  • Track and analyse workshop performance daily, both overall and by individual Technician

  • Lead, mentor and develop the Service Advisor and Bookings team

  • Play an active role in recruiting and building a high-performing front-line team

Job requirements

  • 3+ years proven experience as a Service Manager in a busy franchise dealership

  • Strong understanding of workshop KPIs and operational performance

  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team

  • Premium brand experience advantageous

  • Experience with Keyloop an advantage

  • Full, clean driver’s licence
