Job description

We are hiring an experienced Service Manager for a highly successful, process-driven dealership representing a leading automotive brand. With a large, skilled team and excellent resources, this is an opportunity for an existing Service or Aftersales Manager to excel in a progressive environment, supported by ongoing training and access to the latest automotive technology.

The role

  • Manage and motivate Service Advisors, Technicians and other aftersales staff to achieve their full potential

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring processes are followed to the highest standard

  • Set and monitor KPIs, driving the team to meet and exceed targets

  • Focus on maintaining efficiency and ensuring the department meets its financial goals

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve department performance

  • Manage budgets, forecasts and financial reports

  • Collaborate closely with the Parts Department to ensure seamless operations and maximise workshop efficiency

  • Ensure that all manufacturer policies and procedure are adhered to

Job requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager, in a large franchise dealership

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve results

  • Strong commitment to delivering a consistently high customer experience

  • Systematic approach to ensuring operational excellence

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding KPIs and financial targets

  • Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance procedures (BEV advantageous)
